By Tahera Khan

There are few things as juicy to bite into as Chicken Kebabs. That melange of chicken chunks, yogurt, spices and charcoal is impossible for any true-blue non-vegetarian to resist. In fact, sometimes the vegetarians secretly succumb too. Can’t blame them; it is one of the most simple yet delectable dishes around.

This Chicken Kebab recipe is one of the simplest to make and yet the tastiest!

Ingredients (serves 4 people)

  1. 250 g chicken
  2. 2 tbsp corn flour
  3. 1 tbsp curd
  4. 1 tsp green chillies paste
  5. 1 tbsp vinegar
  6. 1 tsp black pepper
  7. 8 cloves garlic paste
  8. 2 cups ghee
  9. Salt

Directions

  • Start making your juicy chicken kebabs by first diluting corn flour in 1 cup of water. That done, keep the mixture aside.
  • Under normal running water, clean the chicken and cut it up into medium sized chunks.
  • Now it’s time to marinate the chicken chunks with black pepper, salt and vinegar for approx. 15 minutes.
  • Once your chicken chunks have been marinated, add in the corn flour mixture from step 1 along with curd, ginger, garlic and green chillies.
  • Mix it and up well after which you can add 1 tablespoon of ghee.
  • Now, cover up the mixture and refrigerate it for roughly 8-10 hours.
  • Next melt off all the remaining ghee in a pan.
  • To the ghee add the pieces of chicken slowly. Keep a high flame.
  • Fry your chicken kebab chunks until they acquire a beautiful golden brown hue.
  • Fry the chunks until they are properly and evenly cooked.
  • That’s it you’re done! Now, just garnish it with some coriander and mint leaves.
  • Serve your juicy chicken kebabs hot with chutney.

Enjoy delicious chicken kababs & celebrate Ramzan 2015 with your family and friends.
