There are few things as juicy to bite into as Chicken Kebabs. That melange of chicken chunks, yogurt, spices and charcoal is impossible for any true-blue non-vegetarian to resist. In fact, sometimes the vegetarians secretly succumb too. Can’t blame them; it is one of the most simple yet delectable dishes around.
This Chicken Kebab recipe is one of the simplest to make and yet the tastiest!
Ingredients (serves 4 people)
- 250 g chicken
- 2 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tbsp curd
- 1 tsp green chillies paste
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 8 cloves garlic paste
- 2 cups ghee
- Salt
Directions
- Start making your juicy chicken kebabs by first diluting corn flour in 1 cup of water. That done, keep the mixture aside.
- Under normal running water, clean the chicken and cut it up into medium sized chunks.
- Now it’s time to marinate the chicken chunks with black pepper, salt and vinegar for approx. 15 minutes.
- Once your chicken chunks have been marinated, add in the corn flour mixture from step 1 along with curd, ginger, garlic and green chillies.
- Mix it and up well after which you can add 1 tablespoon of ghee.
- Now, cover up the mixture and refrigerate it for roughly 8-10 hours.
- Next melt off all the remaining ghee in a pan.
- To the ghee add the pieces of chicken slowly. Keep a high flame.
- Fry your chicken kebab chunks until they acquire a beautiful golden brown hue.
- Fry the chunks until they are properly and evenly cooked.
- That’s it you’re done! Now, just garnish it with some coriander and mint leaves.
- Serve your juicy chicken kebabs hot with chutney.
